The bank was established in 1982. The Head Office is located at Adansi-Akrofuom in the Ashanti region. The bank currently has two Agencies, Akrofuom Agency and Atonsu Agency. Five (5) year projections are being made in the plan to improve the Bank infrastructure and superstructure. This will include the expansion of its premises fitted with modern architectural designs, furniture and fittings and the establishment of new branches. The implementation of this plan is expected to increase deposits mobilization, expand credit and investment portfolios and thereby improve earnings.
